The fifteenth day of protests against the amnesty brings together 1,000 attendees in Ferraz

The fifteenth day of protests on Ferraz Street has brought together 1,000 people - as reported by the Government Delegation - where tension has been increasing among the protesters who occupy the first rows of the concentration from where objects have been thrown at the National Police who have put on their protective helmets.

These protesters crowded on the front line as has been happening in previous days with hoods and their faces covered have begun to arrive at the concentration around 9:00 p.m. and, some time later, they have begun to throw objects at the press and the National Police in addition to firecrackers and burning of esteladas shouting 'Let the estelada burn'.

At around 10:00 p.m. the Police were put on alert after the protesters demolished the security fence and exceeded the limits set by the riot police, calling for calm through the public address system and warning of an imminent police intervention if they continued throwing objects.

The general secretary of Vox, Javier Ortega Smith, joined the rally, as on previous occasions, while attendees demanded the presence of the PP leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, dedicating the song to him: 'Where he is, you can't see him, Galician of the PP'.

Around 7:30 p.m., the National Police began to protect the area, from the corner of Marqués de Urquijo where the first protesters gathered this Friday, when precisely 15 days have passed since the concentrations began, although this day brings together fewer people than in previous calls at this same time.

The protesters carry Spanish flags and banners against the amnesty and Pedro Sánchez, while chanting against the PSOE pacts with the Catalan nationalist parties.

Among the protesters, Carlist and Francoist flags are also seen and they chant 'subnormal ruffian' and 'Pedro Sánchez likes fruit', in reference to the ironic words that the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, said uttered to Pedro Sánchez in the first session of the investiture debate in the Congress of Deputies.
