Shareholders of companies such as Sabadell, Mapfre, Telefónica or Coca-Cola Europacific Partners are preparing for a 'rain of dividends' of more than 2.1 billion euros that will be distributed between the last two months of the year.

Specifically, Cellnex will pay this Thursday a dividend of 0.04 euros per share charged to the share premium reserve, which represents an amount of more than 28.4 million euros. The company already distributed 0.016 euros per share on June 16, thus, in this year its investors will receive a total of 0.056 euros for each share they own.

Mapfre will be the next to distribute dividends, specifically on November 30, when it will pay 0.06 euros per share against the 2023 results, after having closed the first nine months of the year with a net profit of 470. 6 million euros, 3.6% less.

In December, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' 'rain of dividends' opens. Specifically, on the 5th it will pay 1.17 euros per share, therefore offering the highest dividend among all those already known to be paid before the end of the year.

That same day, the Catalan Fluidra also distributed a dividend, which will pay 0.35 euros per share, after having already paid that same amount on July 5. Thus, the company will have fulfilled the dividend of 0.7 euros that it announced at the beginning of summer.

Likewise, ArcelorMittal also pays the second part of its annual dividend, which will distribute 0.22 euros per share among its shareholders on December 7.

Within the framework of this operation, the Dutch bank ABN Amro will make available to shareholders a reinvestment plan that will allow those who wish to increase the number of securities they own in the steel company.

For its part, the Merlin SOCIMI will pay 0.20 euros per share, as agreed by its board of directors last week, with this Thursday being the last day on which securities with the right to this interim dividend may be traded. benefits for 2023, as reflected in the documentation sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Two days later, Telefónica will distribute a dividend of 0.15 euros, after having already made a payment for the same amount in mid-June, which adds up to a total remuneration of 0.30 euros for each title of the multinational, in line with the 2022 data.

In turn, on December 13, Atresmedia will give its shareholders a gross dividend of 0.18 euros for each of its shares based on 2023 results, as announced this Thursday to the CNMV.

The real estate company Metrovacesa will pay 0.33 euros per share on December 21. After this payment, the listed company will have given its shareholders 3.44 euros per share since 2019 and after its IPO.

This 'rain of dividends' closes with Sabadell, which on December 29 distributes 0.03 euros for each title charged to the 2023 results. This amount represents an increase of 50% compared to the payment made last year by the bank.

INDITEX, FERROVIAL AND NATURGY HAVE ALSO DISTRIBUTED DIVIDENDS

The month of November began with the distribution of dividends from multinationals such as Ferrovial, Naturgy and Inditex.

Specifically, the company chaired by Rafael del Pino paid this Wednesday a flexible dividend of 0.42 euros per share or one new share for every 67 old ones.

On November 7, Naturgy paid 0.5 euros per share on account of fiscal year 2023, while on the 2nd of this same month, the group that owns Zara made a payment of 0.6 euros per share, the same as last Month of May.

ENAGAS, ELECNOR AND PRIM: POSSIBLE DIVIDENDS FOR DECEMBER

The 'rain of dividends' could grow heading into December, waiting for some of the companies that traditionally pay dividends throughout this month to confirm or announce whether they will continue this exercise with that trend.

This is the case of Enagas, because as reflected on its website, the company has been distributing a dividend in the second half of the last month of the year since 2009. Furthermore, in the last five years the average payment for these distributions exceeded 0.6 euros gross per share.

The Elecnor group has paid dividends in December for the last eight years with an average amount greater than 0.05 euros per share, according to data from the company's portal.

For its part, Prim has also distributed dividends in December previously, in this case since 2020, and always with a gross amount per share of 0.11 euros.

The president of the company, Lucía Comenge, explained in an interview with Europa Press that the group distributes dividends in three tranches (two interim and one complementary) and confirmed that the dividend charged to the 2023 results, which will be distributed among the shareholders throughout 2024, "it is guaranteed."
