The emeritus king leaves Vitoria after his visit for medical reasons and departs by private plane from Foronda

VITORIA, 25 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The emeritus king, Juan Carlos I, has left Vitoria this Tuesday after a visit to the capital of Álava for medical reasons. The monarch left the Eduardo Anitua Dental Clinic at ten to ten, where he has stayed since last Sunday afternoon, to go to the Foronda airport, and travel by private plane.

When leaving the prestigious clinic in Vitoria, he was picked up by a blue Mercedes van, from which he waved to the journalists through the glass of the vehicle window.

At ten past ten in the morning he arrived at the airport, where the private plane was waiting for him, which he got on by his own feet, after declining the help offered by the staff, and left around a quarter to eleven.

Don Juan Carlos landed in Foronda the day before yesterday at seven in the afternoon from Sanxenxo (Galicia) and went directly to the Eduardo Anitua dental clinic, where he has spent the night for two nights. In the Álava capital the king emeritus is usually treated, not only by Anitua, but also by the traumatologist Mikel Sánchez.

Don Juan Carlos arrived in Sanxenxo from Abu Dhabi, where he has lived since 2000, and stayed for five days in the Galician municipality, where he stayed at the home of his personal friend, the sailor Pedro Campos.

His next destination was the Álava capital. During this past Monday, in which journalists and photographers waited for the king emeritus at the doors of the clinic without success, for which it is speculated that he has remained inside since his arrival in Vitoria, his son-in-law, Iñaki Urdangarin, was seen , who is in the process of divorce from the Infanta Cristina, riding a bicycle through the capital of Álava.
