PAMPLONA, 17 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

This Friday is the inauguration ceremony for the councilors who will form part of the new Government of Navarra after María Chivite took office this Thursday as president of Navarra.

The act of inauguration, which will take place in the Throne Room of the Palacio de Navarra, will begin at 11 am. At its end, the traditional photograph of the new Government of Navarre will not be taken on the stairs of the Palace garden, since José Luis Arasti will be appointed and will take office as Minister of Economy and Finance once he is removed from his current responsibility as Government delegate in Navarra by the Council of Ministers at the end of this month.

The new Navarrese Executive will be made up of 13 directors, eight corresponding to the PSN, four to Geroa Bai and one to Contigo-Zurekin. There will be three vice presidencies held by the three government partners.

On behalf of the PSN, the first vice presidency and the Department of the Presidency and Equality will be the responsibility of Félix Taberna Monzón. José Luis Arasti Pérez, until now a government delegate in Navarra, will head the Department of Economy and Finance. The Territorial Cohesion department will coordinate it, Óscar Chivite Cornago.

Mari Carmen Maeztu will be responsible for the Department of Social Rights, Social Economy and Employment. The Department of Education will once again be led by Carlos Gimeno Gurpegui, while Amparo López Antelo will be the person in charge of directing the Department of Public Function, Interior and Justice.

The Department of University, Innovation and Digital Transformation will once again be led by Juan Cruz Cigudosa García. And finally, Rebeca Esnaola, will once again be the person in charge of leading the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Geroa Bai's directors will be Ana Ollo, who will hold the second vice-presidency of the Government of Navarra and the Minister of Citizen Relations; Mikel Irujo will lead the Department of Industry, Ecological Transition and Business Digital; José Mari Aierdi, Minister of Rural Development and Environment and Fernando Domínguez will assume the Health portfolio.

For Contigo-Zurekin, Begoña Alfaro will assume a vice presidency and the portfolio of Housing, Youth and Migration Policies.
