Sumar's spokesperson in Congress, Marta Lois, has stressed that the Government's response to the statement from the Israeli embassy was "agreed upon and agreed upon" between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the leader of the group, Yolanda Díaz, and that there is agreement in condemning any attack on the civilian population, both by Hamas and the Israeli Army.

In statements to TVE, collected by Europa Press, he pointed out that Sumar defends with his parliamentary initiatives on the conflict in Congress the suspension of the relationship agreement between the EU and Israel to supervise that there are no economic resources that are allocated to the occupation. illegal seizure of Palestinian territory, as well as prohibiting member countries from selling weapons to this country.

Regarding the statement from the Israeli embassy that called immoral the statements of certain ministers of the Executive, whom it saw as aligned with Hamas, and the subsequent response from Foreign Affairs, Sumar's spokesperson insisted that this statement was agreed upon with Díaz and , therefore, marks the Government's position.

"We also fundamentally agree in the condemnation of all terror attacks on the civilian population, both carried out by Hamas and the State of Israel," he emphasized.

On the other hand, Lois has explained that the situation in Gaza is one of "maximum tension", where a real "massacre and barbarism" is taking place and calls for the release by Hamas of the hostages but also for Israel to allow corridors humanitarian aid to leave the area, given that the population may also be held hostage by the conflict.
