Sumar MÉS confirms having started "discreet conversations" with the Junts sphere

The deputy-elect of Add MÉS to Congress, Vicenç Vidal, has confirmed that he has already begun "discreet conversations" with the Junts per Catalunya (JxCAT) sphere and with all the "friendly" formations that he has considered "that could help facilitate all this procedure" of constitution of Government.

This was explained by the deputy-elect this Tuesday in statements to the media, after collecting his act as a deputy of Congress at the Provincial Court of Palma, in which he assured that his formation "puts at the service, to create a left-wing government, all his contacts and political baggage".

In this sense, he has argued that, "as is known", the formation from which he originates "has a good relationship with Esquerra Republicana, EH Bildu, BNG and also Junts", because they have been "hallmates in recent years in the Senate".

Vidal has said that he has transmitted the same to the Vice President of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, for which he has already made "informal contacts", that "they are discreet" and that they "hope to see their fruits" and be revealed "progressively".

Asked about the statements of the PSOE on whether the responsibility for the negotiations falls on Sumar, the deputy stated that "they do not avoid responsibilities" and that "they will do everything they touch", but that "the Socialist Party has to be generous and read what that has marked the results".

"If the PSOE is not generous, there will be no progressive left-wing government; if it turns its back on historical demands and does not accept the result, there will be no government." Instead, "if there is a will, Sumar MÉS will be in the dialogue as much as he can", he has concluded.
