This recognition materialized during the eighth edition of the Factories of the Future Awards 2024, held in Barcelona. At this event, those companies and projects that have implemented industry 4.0 technologies to improve efficiency and productivity have once again been highlighted. This year's edition has attracted more than 190 applications and was chaired by the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Hereu.

The award to García-Carrión is recognition of its eco-design strategy, which has driven notable advances, such as the weight reduction in its packaging or the launch of the first aseptic carton container without aluminum. These efforts have resulted in a notable reduction in the carbon footprint, increased use of sustainable materials and the active promotion of packaging circularity.

García-Carrion has not only faced urgent challenges such as the accumulation of waste, but has also been a driver of practical and sustainable solutions that have a positive impact on the environment. His exemplary actions and vision set a significant standard in the continued pursuit of more sustainable and responsible business practices.
