Soltec will supply solar trackers for 300 MW to Repsol for three projects in Spain

MADRID, 13 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Soltec has signed an agreement with Repsol to supply 300 megawatts (MW) of its SFOne solar tracker for three projects in Spain, as the company reported this Thursday to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Specifically, these projects are located in the provinces of Palencia (Castilla y León), Teruel (Aragón), and Guadalajara (Castilla-La Mancha).

The firm has detailed in a press release that all plants will have Soltec SFOne trackers, while explaining that this double-row '1P' tracker stands out for its "great competitiveness and low profile", which minimizes the impact visual and maximizes energy efficiency.

Along these lines, Soltec has detailed that for the Palencia photovoltaic project a total of 1,542 followers and 172,704 modules will be installed, while the one located in Teruel will have 1,575 followers and 182,700 photovoltaic modules, and in Guadalajara 1,895 followers and 177,248 modules.

The CEO of Soltec, Raúl Morales, explained that they are "very happy" to be able to work with Repsol on these three projects in Spain.

Morales has also highlighted that Repsol is a "key client" for the energy transition in the country, and that "synergy between large companies is the only way to decarbonize the economy while protecting biodiversity and promoting local communities." .

Supply of the solar trackers will begin in December 2023 and is expected to continue during the first quarter of 2024.
