The PSOE lists for the Senate ratified by the Federal Committee renew more than 60% of the 'number ones' compared to the 2019 candidacies, although the still president of the Upper House, Ander Gil, remains at the top of the list , and the one who was president of the institution in the failed legislature, Manuel Cruz, among others.

The new names that enter as heads of the list are the acting president of La Rioja, Concha Andreu, the until now president of the CSD, José Manuel Franco, who will go as 'number one' for Madrid, or the secretary of Electoral Action of PSOE , José Javier Izquierdo, for Valladolid. And the former Government delegate in Galicia, Xosé Sánchez Burgallo, will go to A Coruña.

On the other hand, one of those who will leave her position as senator will be the current first vice president of the Upper House and president of the PSOE, Cristina Narbona, since she will compete on the socialist lists for the Congress of Deputies.
