Sánchez begins the round of contacts for his investiture today with Díaz

Next week it will be seen with the rest of the parties, except with Vox

MADRID, 4 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The acting president of the Government and PSOE candidate for re-election, Pedro Sánchez, will begin the round of contacts for his investiture this Wednesday and will do so by meeting the acting second vice president and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz.

This was announced this Tuesday in an appearance at the Moncloa Palace after learning that King Felipe VI has proposed him as a candidate. Next week he will be seen with the rest of the formations, except with Vox.

Sánchez announced that to begin with he will meet in Congress with Díaz, with whom he hopes to be able to re-edit a progressive coalition at the head of the Government. The meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Likewise, he pointed out that he also intends to speak with the PP of Alberto Núñez Feijóo, although he made it clear that it will not be to obtain their support or for "what they have done of appealing to the worst of corruptions, which is transfuguism."

Sánchez claimed that the PSOE has "a clear and known country project" and its commitment is to "coexistence between Spaniards and also between the peoples of Spain." In this sense, he stressed that the framework of the negotiations will always be the Constitution.
