Rufián says that Yolanda Díaz is "more afraid" than Abascal for having "left Irene Montero in the ditch"

MADRID, 4 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The spokesman for Esquerra Republicana (ERC) in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, assured this Tuesday that he is more "scared" by the leader of Sumar, Vice President Yolanda Díaz, than the president of Vox himself, Santiago Abascal, and gives as an example the fact that the coalition has "left in the ditch" Minister Irene Montero, excluded from the lists.

In statements to Cuatro collected by Europa Press, Rufián explains that "everyone knows what it is" about Vox and Abascal and what "fascism" would mean, but he is more concerned about the attitude of Yolanda Díaz, whom he accuses of a lack of courage.

In his opinion, the left is already "marked from home" and therefore "has to be brave", and he is "scared" that Yolanda Díaz is not "brave enough". And he cites an example: "The fact that she leaves people like Irene Montero in the gutter simply because she has been told that she is going to do better", he commented in reference to the exclusion of the minister from the lists of Add.

Rufián, head of the ERC list for Barcelona, understands that Yolanda Díaz "has to do well", given the alternative of a pact between the PP and Vox, but this attitude on the left worries him.
