SOS Alert, a revolutionary solution designed by FlashLED and Telefónica Tech to improve road safety and optimize the drivers' experience, is now a reality. In collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) and its connected vehicle platform DGT 3.0, the SOS Alert app offers advanced functionalities for users of the connected V16 beacons.

SOS Alert is designed to work synergistically with the connected V16 beacons of the brands associated with the application. Available for free, it gives drivers access to additional features included in the DGT 3.0 platform, strengthening safety and efficiency on the road.

Ease and safety thanks to SOS Alert

• Easy and fast linking: the application allows the linking between the V16 beacon and the application through QR codes or through the IMEI number. Users can also select the brand of the product for a personalized configuration.

• Digital Vehicle Documentation: The app provides essential vehicle information such as license plate, VIN, make, model, and even details about some vehicle components.

• Notification to emergency contacts: users can establish emergency contacts that the application will automatically notify in case of a critical situation, sending the position of the beacon via SMS.

• Confirmation in DGT 3.0: the application confirms receipt of the notice through the DGT 3.0 platform, ensuring that the authorities are informed and can respond appropriately.

• V16 Device Management – ​​The app allows users to manage multiple V16 beacons, performing sign-ons, opt-outs and alert settings as needed.

• Additionally, FlashLED is working on new functionalities, such as the possibility of directly contacting the user's insurance company, which it will incorporate in an upcoming update.
