Real Sociedad is still stuck against Cádiz

MADRID, 3 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Real Sociedad drew (0-0) against Cádiz this Friday at the start of matchday 24 of LaLiga Santander held at the Reale Arena, a match with local dominance but without success that lengthens the pothole for the Basques and allows them to add to the Andalusians for salvation.

Those led by Imanol Alguacil, who on Thursday visit Roma in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16, had more than 70% possession but showed a moment without spark, without a goal, which Cádiz sharpened to score against a rival from above. With hardly any chances, a good one on each side, the Basque team had to settle for a point that is not worth it to ensure third place this day.

Meanwhile, the Andalusian team adds a good performance at home to its good numbers at home so as not to fall into the relegation zone. The occasion of the first half was the local one, with a Carlos Fernández who saw his ball touch the post. The 'txuri-urdin' dominance, with a change of system on the fly, did not translate into danger, although Cádiz had no way out on the counter either.

The entry in the second half of David Silva, whom his team had been missing, strengthened Real's dominance but did not bring clear chances. Oyarzabal narrowly missed a Kubo cross and the Basques began to notice the precipitation. Meanwhile, Cádiz, in their territory, had theirs in an assist from Ledesma from goal to Roger.

The striker dodged around Remiro but his shot hit the post. The game, stopped for many minutes due to a hard blow to Fali that forced him to leave the field on a stretcher, gained tension but not clarity of play. Cádiz wanted to save the point and Real attacked in a storm in the long discount but without precision, with the latter too focused for Kubo.
