Quique Setién: "I think I'm the envy of many coaches right now"

Villarreal's new coach, Quique Setién, thanked an "exceptional club" for betting on him to occupy a bench that now makes him "the envy" of many other coaches and that allows him to end a period of more than two years without training in search of being the person he could not be at FC Barcelona.

"I want to thank the president because they have given me the opportunity to come to this exceptional club, which the most important thing is that I think it identifies with my way of being and doing things. For Setién, this call from the Roig family has been "something unexpected". "I didn't expect that Villarreal needed a coach either because Emery was handling everything very well. "I return to training very happy. There are many moments that I have thought that I was well and 40 years old, but I had that 'bug'.
