During his speech at the celebration of the 128th anniversary of the founding of the PNV in front of a statue of Sabino Arana in Jardines de Albia in Bilbao, a few days after the general elections that led to the loss of more than 100,000 votes and in "a political climate complex and rarefied", Ortuzar has opted for "correcting errors, from humility and with all the necessary self-criticism", and innovating in his way of managing and relating "with the polyhedral society" that exists, in order to "excite" it to to continue accompanying them "on the journey to the national and social liberation" of Euskadi.
