The meeting of the PSOE Federal Executive will take place at the party headquarters on Calle Ferraz in Madrid at 09:30. Later, at 12:30 p.m., Sánchez will have a meeting with the parliamentarians elected for the XV legislature in the Ernest Lluch room of the Lower House.

", although he expressed his confidence that the body is "progressive".

The first vice president and acting Minister of Economic Affairs, Nadia Calviño, opted this Monday for the Presidency of Congress to go to the PSOE, rejecting the proposal of the Canary Islands Coalition that the position go to the PNV.

For her part, Sumar's spokesperson in Congress, Marta Lois, confirmed on Monday that there are contacts with the Junts pro-independence supporters to get a Congressional Table set up with a progressive majority that, in her opinion, should be chaired by the PSOE.
