Ortuzar transfers to Feijóo his refusal to start talks to facilitate his investiture as president

The president of the EBB, Andoni Ortuzar, telephoned the leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, this Monday night to convey his refusal to start talks to facilitate his inauguration as Prime Minister.

According to sources from the jeltzale formation, Feijóo had tried to contact the leader of the PNV throughout today. Finally, it was Ortuzar who called the leader of the popular, who had previously said that he had maintained "contact" with the president of the EBB and that he hoped to "expand" it in the coming days.

Andoni Ortuzar has conveyed to Alberto Núñez Feijóo the PNV's refusal to start talks to facilitate his inauguration as President of the Spanish Government, a decision that has been agreed upon at the meeting that the EBB, the leadership of the jeltzale formation, has held this afternoon at the Sabin Etxea headquarters in Bilbao, consistent with what it has maintained over the last few weeks.
