More than 66,000 users have signed up for the OCU platform to save on electricity and gas

MADRID, 21 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The platform of the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) to save on electricity and gas bills, www.quieropagarmenosluz.org, already has more than 66,000 registered consumers, as reported by the organization in a statement.

The platform for the VII Collective Purchase of Energy launched by the OCU began operating on March 15 and already has 13,434 people registered in the Community of Madrid, which represents 20% of all users. Behind are Andalusia (17%), Catalonia (11%), the Valencian Community (11%) and Castilla y León (7%).

Regarding the supply for which more offers are requested, electricity stands out, which represents 69% of the total, followed by the combination of electricity with gas (28%) and only gas (3%).

Collective purchases through the OCU have benefited more than 1.2 million consumers since its inception and last year provided an average saving of 304 euros per year for the supply of electricity and 144 euros for natural gas.

In this call, users can join the collective purchase until April 27. Registration does not imply any commitment since, once the winning offer is known, OCU will offer users a personalized estimate of the savings they could obtain and they will decide if it suits them.
