Mohamed VI will receive Sánchez in audience

King Mohamed VI will receive the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, in audience during his official visit to Rabat, according to government sources.

Sánchez has traveled to the Moroccan capital precisely at the invitation of the Alawite monarch, who has also made the guest palace available to him during his stay of a few hours.

The president will first hold a meeting with the Moroccan Prime Minister, Aziz Ajanuch, with whom he will review bilateral relations and progress in the implementation of the roadmap.

Next, both will have a lunch offered in honor of Sánchez the monarch, who will not be present. It will be later, at some point in the afternoon, when Mohamed VI receives Sánchez in audience at the royal palace.

It should be remembered that the monarch could not receive the president during the High-Level Meeting in February 2023 because he was outside Morocco, but then he invited him to visit him soon. This visit is a result of that invitation.
