Maroto regrets that Dos de Mayo was "tarnished" by Bolaños's controversy: "We all fit in the institutions"

MADRID, 4 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The PSOE candidate for Mayor of Madrid, Reyes Maroto, regretted that Dos de Mayo, the day of the Community of Madrid, was "tarnished" by the controversy of the Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, and has defended that in the institutions fit "everyone".

"We are used to the fact that the PP, the Community and the City Council use the institutions in a partisan way. It is one more and I do not want to talk about the controversy because the ones who lost were the people of Madrid. The Madrid party was tarnished and I think it is a a fact that should not have occurred because in the house of the people of Madrid we all fit in the institutions", Maroto defended at an informative breakfast organized by Europa Press.

He believes that the malaise "had it the people of Madrid" and has promised that if he is mayor after May 28 in the Consistory, "everyone" will be able to enter.

With this, the socialist candidate considers that "talking about what is important, which is Madrid", is stopped. Thus, she has claimed that this campaign talks about Madrid and does not give "space to controversies that do not contribute anything to the debate and that are created to avoid talking about Madrid."
