Junts warns Sánchez that he is still "far away" and that it will not support him if he does "the same thing" as the last legislature

The spokesperson for Junts in Congress, Míriam Nogueras, warned this Friday the President of the Government, the socialist Pedro Sánchez, that her party is still "far away" from supporting his investiture and that they will not give him their votes if his intentions for Catalonia are limited. to do "the same" as in the last four years.

This is what Nogueras warned, in a brief statement in Congress in Catalan, after the meeting he held in Congress with the socialist candidate for re-election and in which the Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Santos Cerdán, also participated.

Nogueras, who receives a salary of more than 8,100 euros each month from Congress, has declined to appear in the press room and has limited himself to that statement without wanting to answer the questions from the press, neither in Spanish nor Catalan.

As noted, the meeting served to send Sánchez a transcript of the conference that the former Catalan president, Carles Puigdemont, a fugitive from Spanish Justice, gave on September 5 and in which he established the conditions of Junts for his eventual I support Sánchez.

Nogueras did not want to give more details about the meeting, nor did he refer to amnesty proposals that he has talked about in recent days, claiming that they are not going to enter the game of "leaks" and that when they have something to say they will say it.

Of course, he has stressed that if Sánchez intends to apply the same recipe as in the previous legislature in Catalonia "it is not the votes of Junts that he is looking for", because that formula has proven useless.
