Junts has not made a decision on the investiture and refers to a negotiation on amnesty with Puigdemont

The Junts deputy Isidre Gavín has warned this Friday that his formation has not made a decision on the possible investiture of Pedro Sánchez as president of the Government, for which reason he has referred to an amnesty for the pro-independence leaders that goes through a negotiation with the Former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont, fled from Justice after the 1-O referendum.

"We have put on the table during the campaign and also now a whole series of issues that are very important to us, that the repression and amnesty end," he said in an interview in Cope, collected by Europa Press.

Gavín has confirmed that the decision they adopt will not be communicated to the King in the round of consultations that begins on Monday and has differentiated the negotiation for the presidency of the Table of Congress with the investiture, since on the latter "they do not have a decision taken".

"If any candidate believes that they need or want our votes, we will have to talk with our representatives, starting with President Puigdemont, and establish what issues there may be an agreement on," he indicated.

The representative of Junts has referred to his electoral program and, as he has said, "in what is necessary for Catalonia." "For us, the process is different: whoever wants to be Prime Minister and believes that they may need our votes or may want them, has to get in touch with us to negotiate what conditions or what issues can be incorporated," he stated.

The Junts deputy has advocated, as happened with the negotiation that allowed the presidency of Congress to fall to the socialist Francina Armengol, in maintaining the "criterion of discretion and prudence so that statements and counter-statements are not made that do not help at all to reach to the agreements".
