Jordi Ribera keeps all his players to play the World Cup

MADRID, 8 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Spanish handball coach, Jordi Ribera, has decided to keep all the players called up for the preparation of the World Cup in the final list for the tournament, which will be held from January 11 to 29 in Poland and Sweden.

The Catalan coach has called up Gonzalo Perez de Vargas and Rodrigo Corrales, as goalkeepers; Agustín Casado and Ian Tarrafeta, as centerpieces; Daniel Dujshebaev and Joan Cañellas, as left backs; Alex Dujshebaev, Jorge Maqueda and Imanol Garciandia, as right backs; Angel Fernandez and Daniel Fernandez, as left wingers; Ferran Solé and Kauldi Odriozola, as right wingers; Gideon Guardiola, Adria Figueras, Iñaki Peciña and Abel Serdio, as pivots; and Miguel Sanchez-Migallon, as a defensive specialist.

Thus, the team will travel to Krakow this Tuesday with the same troops that have carried out the second preparation phase and the International Tournament of Spain in Benidorm, where they have won the duels against Romania, Bahrain and Argentina.

Ribera thus offers a continuation block, with 15 players who have already participated in the European Championship this year -where they won the silver medal- and six who were in the Mediterranean Games in Oran.

The 'Hispanics' travel this afternoon to Madrid, where they will concentrate these two days prior to moving to Polish lands. On Tuesday, the entire expedition will fly to Krakow, the venue for Spain in the Preliminary Round and the Main Round, if they qualify, of this 2023 World Championship.

"We have had three rivals with different characteristics, the team has been able to adapt to all situations, and for this I am happy, the first because accumulating load the level has been good, and the second because the sensations are also good," he indicated. Riverbank.
