Israel Army kills three Palestinians in attempted drive-by attack in Nablus

At least three Palestinians were killed Tuesday by Israeli army fire in an attempted drive-by attack in the West Bank city of Nablus.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have indicated through their profile on the social network Twitter that their soldiers have "neutralized three terrorists who fired at them from a vehicle", and none of them have been killed or injured.

"A vehicle with three armed terrorists recently arrived at the Samaritan neighborhood in the Nablus city area, one of the terrorists got out of the vehicle and opened fire on the IDF soldiers from Battalion 603 who were in defense activity in the area," the IDF reported on social media.

In addition, they have reported the confiscation of three M-16 assault rifles, a pistol, ammunition cartridges and other types of military equipment.

Increased tensions in recent months have resulted in the deaths of more than 185 Palestinians and 25 Israelis, amid fears of a widespread outbreak of violence. Tensions have risen especially since June 19, with the Israeli Army's raid on Jenin, which left at least twelve Palestinians dead, more than a hundred wounded and thousands displaced. Just a day later, four Israelis were killed in an attack near the Eli settlement.
