Forensic experts complete the autopsies on the bodies found in the burned Campanar building

Late this Saturday afternoon, the forensic experts from the Institute of Legal Medicine of the Department of Justice and the Interior completed the autopsies carried out on the bodies found in the burned-out building in Campanar.

However, three of these corpses must undergo anthropological study due to the state in which they were found, according to sources from this department.

As of 9:00 p.m., the Institute of Legal Medicine has deactivated its Emergency Plan, but the team of Psychologists from the Office of Attention to Victims of the City of Justice will continue to provide psychological care to those throughout the weekend. affected and family members who require it.

The work of the Scientific and Judicial Police brigade has continued since early this Saturday inside the burned building, tasks that have resulted in the location of a new body. In this way, and after the identification tasks, the number of fatalities found inside the building has risen to ten, as reported by the Government Delegation.

The head of the Investigative Court number 10 of Valencia this Friday opened preliminary proceedings to investigate the causes and circumstances of the fire and has decreed the secrecy of the proceedings in order to "protect the police investigations and the privacy of the victims and their families."
