Feijóo will finance half the cost of rural nurseries so that they are free with a regional subsidy

CELLADAS (TERUEL), June 17 (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has promised this Saturday to finance, if Spain governs, 50 percent of the cost of rural nurseries, for children from zero to three years, so that they are free for families, contributing the communities autonomous the remaining 50 percent.

"I have a commitment to rural Spain," Feijóo explained, recalling that he has been president of the Xunta de Galicia, governing for 34,000 inhabited nuclei, and knows the rural environment "by birth, vocation and management."

"I know what is needed: work, companies, public services, connectivity, sometimes a supply network, the ability to reconcile family with work hours", continued the president of the PP, who has proclaimed: "I want to be president of the Rural Spain, of all the Spaniards who live in most of the towns".

He has announced several measures to be put into practice by the Government of Spain as of 23J, such as taking companies to the towns, an "intensive" tax reduction for companies that want to invest in small municipalities, also for homeowners, a system to care for children and the elderly.

Feijóo has visited this Saturday, June 17, the Teruel town of Celadas, where the 'popular' Raquel Clemente has been invested for the fourth time as mayor, and has attended the plenary session to "testify" her "commitment to rural Spain". Clemente is also a PP-Teruel candidate for the Congress of Deputies in the general elections on July 23.

In a speech, after the plenary session, Feijóo has expressed his "respect, admiration and unconditional support" to the councilors of the more than 8,000 Spanish municipalities, calling on them to "continue working from the towns" for the whole of Spain.

He has thanked the citizens for the result obtained by the PP in the municipal and regional elections of May 28, in which the PP has been the most voted in most regions and has also won the municipal elections in all Spain.

He has also highlighted that the elections have taken place "normally", the citizens voting "freely" and has wished that all local corporations be constituted this Saturday "without incidents".

With his visit to Celadas, instead of attending the inauguration of the popular mayors of Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza or Malaga, Feijóo wanted to highlight his support for depopulated Spain, indicating that this Teruel town is "very similar" to the yours.

"Most of the mayors and councilors of that rural Spain do not receive any type of salary, neither fixed, nor monthly nor extraordinary payments, and the majority dedicate themselves to politics because they have a commitment to their towns, they dedicate themselves to politics as a service public in the strict sense; all by vocation", Feijóo stated.

In addition, he has noted that "proximity politics is one that is concerned with the most important things, water and sewerage problems, supply, that the streets are clean", thus vindicating "true politics, which is dedicated to to solve problems, not create them.

The Celadas City Council recalled that "without opposition there is no democracy" and that all residents "have voted freely", stressing that "there are many more points of union than of division".

He has hoped that on 23J "the electoral turnaround" will be consumed throughout Spain, starting on 28M, and "a period of union for all Spaniards, of respect between politicians and of economic and social reconstruction of Spain" will begin, hoping that Spaniards choose "a quiet, calm and intense change in Spanish politics".
