Feijóo promises to reverse the closure of nuclear plants and create a national water regulator

The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has promised to reverse "the planned dismantling and prolongation of the life" of the nuclear power plants, and has assured that he will create a national water regulation body to plan investments and infrastructures.

He said it this Monday at the closing of an act of his party to present his electoral proposal on the economy at the Casa Seat in Barcelona and which was also attended by the president of the Catalan PP, Alejandro Fernández; the general secretary of the party, Cuca Gamarra, and the leader of the PP in the Barcelona City Council, Daniel Sirera, among others.

Feijóo has pointed out that water infrastructures will be "the first priority from the point of view of investment" and has opted to increase the volume of desalinated water, guaranteeing cheaper energy.
