Feijóo asks Sánchez to "abandon the flight forward and come out of his bunker" to explain the Koldo case

He says that, if there is nothing to hide, they will be benevolent, but if there is "something", they will demand "all forcefulness, regardless of whoever it affects."

BILBAO, 2 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has asked the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to "abandon the flight forward" and to leave the "bunker" to give explanations for what happened "in his Government, in his party and in your house" regarding the so-called "Koldo case" and stop "covering it up.

Feijóo has traveled to Bilbao to participate in the presentation of the president of the Popular Party of the Basque Country, Javier de Andrés, as a candidate for lehendakari in the next Basque regional elections.

In relation to the so-called 'Koldo case' relative to the alleged plot that would have paid commissions to obtain awards for the sale of masks in the pandemic, the popular leader, after referring to former minister José Luis Ábalos, saying that "to the mixed group lately Anyone leaves," he asked the President of the Government to offer explanations about this case.

Specifically, he has demanded that Sánchez "abandon the flight forward" and come out of the bunker and show his face. In his opinion, he must offer explanations and "not cover it up anymore." As he has indicated, the Spaniards have the right to that "what happened be clarified." "We Spaniards have the right to be clarified about what has happened in the Government, in the party and at home. We need to know, we have the right to know," he added.

In this sense, it has been asked what the problem is if there is nothing to hide. In this sense, he added that, "if there is nothing", they will be benevolent, but when there is "something", they will demand "all forcefulness and political responsibility, regardless of who it affects."

After ensuring that Sánchez is "a president and a government in decomposition", he indicated that for a long time now "no truth can be expected" from him, because his political career "has been based on a set of continuous lies."

Feijóo has indicated that "every hour" something new emerges regarding the "Koldo" case and has pointed out that surely "there will be new suspects, and there will be new news, new interests, new indications, and new confirmed facts." "It is impossible to follow everything, even we who dedicate ourselves to this are not able to know the minute and result of what is happening in the PSOE, in the Sanchista Government and in the Presidency of the Government in Moncloa," he stated.

In his opinion, what is evident is that "they knew about it for a long time and covered it up for so long." Feijóo believes that they have chosen the "most reckless and most absurd reaction" which is to try to "cover up a plot that is absolutely out of control", instead of "giving explanations and collaborating with justice."

"They try to encapsulate everything that ministers, secretaries of State, senior officials, regional presidents have done in recent years. And now there are the president of the government, six ministers, the presidency of Congress, two secretaries of Organization of the PSOE. All except Ábalos "They are silent. Imagine, if the only one who gives explanations is Ábalos, how will the rest of the PSOE be," he said.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo has added that, instead of demanding explanations, "those who were authorized - because they already knew what was going to happen - are still authorized, the ministers who were appointed remain in the ministries and the president of Congress continues to preside over Congress." .

Furthermore, he has assured that there are even people involved who are still "in their positions in the Government." "Not the ministers, who are six, no, other senior officials in other ministries," she assured.

Feijóo has indicated that they are going to generate "an alternative dream project" because "Spain needs it", and, after ensuring that he understands that the PSE-EE is going to have "very difficult bringing Sánchez here in the campaign, he has stated that the objective of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, "is not the PSOE, which is about to disappear", but rather "his objective is him".

"SÁNCHEZ, RÉMORA"

The popular leader has stated that, when someone puts "his interests above those of his party and his country", he begins to be a "remorse for his party and his country."

A country that, as he highlighted, is "indebted up to its eyebrows" because Sánchez's presidency "costs 210 million euros of public debt daily." "Since it arrived in 2018 until now it has issued 40,000 million in public debt, if it is divided by the number of days, it comes out to 210 million," added the popular leader who pointed out that the new generations will continue to pay "that enormous debt "that these frivolous and irresponsible politicians leave behind.

Feijóo, who has focused a good part of his speech on talking about the alternative that the Basque PP represents in Euskadi, has indicated that he has not mentioned Pedro Sánchez much, because "he is the past."

The president of the PP recalled that he presented himself for the investiture because they understand that "when you win, you must govern and when you lose you must go to the opposition."

Likewise, he has indicated that he already told Pedro Sánchez that he was going to be the president of the "weakest government and the most divided and disunited government in the democratic history of Spain", something that "a few months later is already taking shape."

He has also alluded to the Galician elections which he believes have shown that the vote for the socialists "is no longer worth anything." "Their objective in Galicia was for the nationalists to win, the Galicians realized it. And then they gave the PSOE nine seats, the worst result in the history of the Galician autonomy of the PSOE and nationalists more than 20 and the PP, of course, 40", he remarked.
