Feijóo and Sánchez will meet this Wednesday in Congress to talk about the investiture

The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and the acting president of the Government and leader of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, will meet this Wednesday in Congress to discuss the investiture.

According to PP sources, Feijoo contacted Sánchez yesterday at noon, "leader of our country's second party", to ask him about the suitability of holding a meeting with a view to the investiture as the 'popular' president is the candidate appointed by the King .

The interlocution took place through WhatsApp. In his first message, Feijóo asked Sánchez to have a telephone talk to discuss this matter. The acting president agreed on the convenience of holding that meeting but preferred that the cabinet directors of both agree on the most suitable date.

Finally, this Tuesday, first thing in the morning, it has been agreed that the meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m., in the House of Representatives.

The PP frames this meeting in the democratic normality that has to mark the agenda after the general elections of 23J and in the institutional framework prior to the investiture debate set for September 26.

Feijóo already advanced Sánchez during the debate that was held last July that the PP and PSOE should work on a model that would facilitate the investiture of the most voted list. That conviction of the president of the PP is still valid and that is how it will be transferred tomorrow to the general secretary of the *socialists.
