Feijóo advises Vox that there is no reason to "deny" the Government to the PP in Murcia: "It is a mistake that they will pay at the polls"

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, considers that the 'popular' Fernando López Miras is "legitimized" with 43% of the votes to govern alone in Murcia and has warned the president of that formation, Santiago Abascal, that "not there are objective reasons for Vox to deny the Government to the Popular Party" in that region. In his opinion, if that party decides to vote with the left it will be "a mistake that they will pay for at the polls" on July 23.

This has been pronounced by Feijóo in a meeting organized by the newspaper 'La Razón', which was attended by the general secretary of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, and the presidents of Murcia and Castilla y León, Fernando López Miras and Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, respectively. In addition, the president of the PPCV and candidate for the Presidency of the Valencian Community, Carlos Mazón, attended.

Feijóo has indicated that Pedro Sánchez continues "to have an intense collaborator to the right of the PP", alluding to Vox. In fact, he has reviewed some actions of that formation, such as when he helped the Government with European funds or presented a motion of censure against the Executive of PSOE and Unidas Podemos.

At this point, he has reproached Vox for trying to delve into "instability", as some journalistic reports point out, instead of "betting on the calm change offered and guaranteed by the Popular Party".

"We are seeing it without going any further in the resistance to promote a stable government in Murcia, without any justification, in my opinion. There are no objective reasons for Vox to deny the government to the PP in Murcia, except for the interest in the mess that we have in Spain and that it continues," he asserted.

After justifying that Vox has asked to enter the Government of Extremadura or the Valencian Community because their votes were necessary for the investiture, he has indicated that the same is not the case in Murcia. For this reason, he has said that he does not believe that "no Vox voter" can "understand voting" with the left in the regional Parliament.

The leader of the PP has indicated that he expects Vox "to be consistent", so that "if he really wants to repeal sanchismo, do not validate it." "I think that Miras and the PP in Murcia are legitimized with 43% of the vote, a percentage higher than that of Andalusia, to govern", he highlighted.

In addition, Feijóo has appealed to the useful vote in the July 23 elections because the division of the center-right vote can penalize them in some twenty provinces that distribute three or four deputies. "Unite and you will win is the motto that inspires me," he added. .

Feijóo has confessed that he has a "good relationship" with Santiago Abascal and has recalled that the president of Vox "comes from the PP" and was affiliated with the formation before him. "Therefore, he has more seniority in my party than me," he emphasized.
