David Grande (Cacereño): "I didn't get even 20 euros in the Lottery, but Real Madrid won us"

MADRID, 23 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The CP Cacereño footballer David Grande celebrated the future confrontation against Real Madrid in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey, comparing it to the Christmas Lottery, in a duel "that will be a party for the city" of Extremadura and in which they will need make the game of their "lives" to "try to get through".

"It's going to be a beautiful day in Cáceres, we're really looking forward to playing that game, it will be a party for the city. We want to try to get through and remember it forever," said the striker after the draw at La Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas.

The striker was the author of one of the two goals that allowed the victory (2-1) against Girona in the previous round, something he wants to repeat against Carlo Ancelotti's men. "Hopefully I can score another goal, I don't even want to imagine what would happen if we managed to win," he predicted, before asking the Italian coach to put "the best team" against Cacereño.

"In the team they are 'crazy', they think I have done magic," he commented on being the 'innocent hand' in the draw. "I didn't even get 20 euros in the Christmas Lottery, but today Real Madrid got us. Money can't buy this," he applauded.

The striker believes that one of the keys against Real Madrid will be to "match them in intensity". "I don't think they come with little rhythm, they have had many World Cup players. They run a lot, they don't have to have a good game and for us, the game of our lives," he added, after confessing that he "would like" to change his shirt with Karim Benzema. "I would be very excited. I hope that day I have a bad day," he settled.
