Celta and Sevilla tie at the bottom and Getafe returns strong

Almería forgave Cádiz and there was a deal (1-1) at the Nuevo Mirandilla

MADRID, 30 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

RC Celta and Sevilla FC drew a 1-1 draw on matchday 15 of LaLiga Santander held in Balaídos in the midst of an uncomfortable wind, on a Friday of matches in the lower zone that allowed Getafe to escape, with a 2 -0 over Mallorca, and left a bittersweet taste for Almería against Cádiz (1-1).

The return after the World Cup showed a worrying image of Sevilla in the first half. Jorge Sampaoli's team, in relegation places, barely appeared or played in the rival field, greatly outclassed by a Celta that was accumulating chances until finding the goal through Gabri, their revelation youth squad, at 33 minutes.

The reaction of the Andalusians was full at the restart, much more intense and with arrival, a very clear one from Lamela and, later, the goal from Salas on 54'. Sevilla took command but Celta recovered more or less well, with the ball, and had their moment in the closing stages for the second yellow card for Carmona. A sour point for each, two teams far from what was expected of them.

At first, the question of how the break would feel had a negative response in an unrecognizable Mallorca, which fell with a crash on his visit to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. Aguirre's team continued on vacation during their visit to the south of Madrid, with little depth or defensive solidity.

A double from Borja Mayoral in the second half gave the three points to a Getafe in need and who put distance with the relegation zone. The striker from Madrid brought faith to the azulón team, after a first half with little history, although with a penalty canceled against Mallorca due to an offside by Muriqi on the play.

The Kosovar attacker, a sensation so far in the League, did not get rid of the bad performance from the Balearic Islands. Already in the second half, Mayoral slipped inside to make it 0-1 and, shortly after, signed the second on a gift from Antonio Sánchez. Amath's runs stretched Mallorca at the end, on the occasion of Ángel, but the three points went to those who needed them the most and sought them the most.

Meanwhile, Almería had to settle for one point, when they were savoring their first victory away from home, after pardoning the sentence in the second half, against a Cádiz team that rebelled in time. Rubi's team has 17 points, the same as 'Geta', and keeps those in yellow in relegation places.

Those of Sergio González had little depth and bad luck with the referee. In the first half, Ocampo managed to see the goal but the VAR ordered Martínez Munuera to rewind until he saw a foul by Fali at the start of the play. Later, Melero's goal ended up igniting the fans, but not a Cádiz with little recourse.

After passing through the changing rooms, Almería forgave with three clear scoring chances, Bilal Touré twice and another Baptistao. The locals held on and Lucas Pérez made it 1-1 after 83'. Lozano had the comeback in his boots, but there was no fireworks at the end of the year for a Cádiz that will eat the grapes in the red zone.
