Bolaños agrees to recover remains of victims after the exhumation of Primo de Rivera

BADALONA (BARCELONA), 21 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) -

The Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, has assured that the Government will continue working to recover the remains of victims of the Civil War in the Cuelgamuros Valley after the exhumation of José Antonio Primo de Rivera next Monday.

"We are going to continue working in the Valley. It is one of the fundamental objectives of the law (of Democratic Memory) that the relatives of the victims can recover the remains of their loved ones and give them a dignified burial. It is not ideology, it is pure humanity "He said this Friday at an event in Badalona (Barcelona) together with the mayor and candidate for re-election, Rubén Guijarro.

Bolaños has maintained that the exhumation of Primo de Rivera, founder of the Falange, allows democracy to "advance in dignity" by avoiding spaces where Falangism is honored.
