Ayuso places intermediate positions at the head of the ministries in a Government without Vice Presidency

The PP candidate for the Presidency of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has designed a totally renewed Government, in which she has risen to intermediate positions in the previous legislature and has dispensed with the Vice Presidency.

Thus, the Vice Minister of the Presidency, Miguel Ángel García, will lead the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Local Administration; the Deputy Minister for Educational Policy, Rocío Albert López-Ibor, will direct the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, and the Vice Minister of the Interior and director of the Madrid 112 Security and Emergency Agency, Carlos Novillo, will be in charge of the Ministry of Environment Environment, Land and Interior Planning.

The new Madrid government, which will take office next Monday, will have nine ministries, the same as the current one, and the president has explained that they will eliminate the number of deputy ministries and general directorates with the aim of making an Executive "as austere as possible", which which is "identity sign of the PP".

"I am not changing the Government due to a lack of confidence, nothing further, or because I think that things have not been done well. I think that the work that all the councilors have done has brought us to this absolute majority and this is worthy of recognition" , has stressed the regional leader, who has flattered one by one all his former advisers.

Ayuso has defended that he modifies the Executive since he considers it "essential to renew". "I know that renewal gives us the strength and vertigo necessary to not live well off.
