Ayuso charges against Sánchez for dynamiting "the rules of the game" and "subduing the institutions"

Encourages Spaniards not to be carried away by "conformity" and to fight

MADRID, 12 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has charged against the acting president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, for dynamiting "the rules of the game" and subjugating the institutions, censuring that he has decided to be "the executive, legislative and judicial".

This was highlighted during his speech at the massive demonstration promoted by the Popular Party in Puerta del Sol against the "absolute transfer" of Sánchez after the agreement between the PSOE and Junts that includes the amnesty.

The president of the party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has led the mobilization in Madrid accompanied by the president of the Community of Madrid and the regional PP and the mayor of the capital, José Luis Martínez-Almeida.

After Martínez-Almeida gave him the floor, Ayuso began his speech before the thousands of people gathered, attacking Sánchez for "finally" coming forward and showing the Spaniards his "hidden project", his project of "totalitarianism".

Thus, he has criticized the fact that he has decided "not to lose power, no matter what it costs Spain" without "nothing or anyone going to take it away from him", which in his opinion means "dynamiting the rules of the game, subjecting the institutions and powers of the State".

"We will be in charge of returning blow for blow. Those who are standing up for everyone are not alone and now let's not get carried away by conformism or pessimism, they have underestimated us. We must fight this battle no matter how long it may be. Let's not fail those who have given everything so that today we are this great nation. And let us not fail those who are to come," he harangued.

Along these lines, he stressed that today "freedom, plurality and political alternation and democracy are at stake." "Spain said no to Sánchez's project in May and July but is not capable of assuming it," the regional president has criticized.

He has then censured the "corrupt business" of the socialists "in each region to perpetuate itself, meddling in the very life of each citizen, squeezing taxes from the self-employed, expelling companies, young people and controlling politically."

"Dozens of groups and associations of all kinds, of all political colors and origins, are crying out these days for the rule of law and freedom in Spain, because Sánchez will take us down this path to a dictatorship if there are no checks and balances in power. It's hard for us to believe it too, right? But he has decided to be the executive, legislative and judicial power," he said.

"We have to fight this battle. Sánchez thinks that we are going to give up. He wants us to get used to everything and he thinks that he will be able to do even more whatever he wants as he has done in these years. What won't he do in another four years? And "He thinks that so much damage is going to come for free," he added.

The Madrid popular leader has insisted that "they will not remain silent" and will go out to "defend our centuries-old nation, our coexistence, our rule of law." "Today, here and now, from Madrid's Puerta del Sol, we raise our voices for Spain, for truth, for history, for our institutions. And Madrid, capital of Spain, will be up to the task, we have demonstrated it so far. throughout the centuries, throughout history, distant and recent," he said.

"How many lies are there when they tell us that this is for coexistence and for our good? What a shame! Now what they also want is that for this project to go forward, the Popular Party disappears. As they have done in other regions by coercing, ending freedom, using power, but they have forgotten that here is Madrid, free Madrid," he concluded.
