Ayuso and Almeida encourage Feijóo to take "on the fly" to La Moncloa: "We are going to recover true politics"

MADRID, 20 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and the mayor of the capital, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, have encouraged the people of Madrid this Thursday to take the PP candidate for the Presidency of the Government, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, "en volandas" to La Moncloa in the elections this Sunday. "We are going to recover the true politics", they have assured.

This is how they have transferred it this Thursday afternoon at the central campaign event held in Madrid with Feijóo before some 5,000 attendees, according to party sources. Feijóo, Ayuso and Almeida have starred in this electoral act on the Puente del Rey, in Madrid Río, the place that the PP chose to close the regional campaign of May 2021.

During the act, Ayuso has claimed that it is "the moment of democracy" and of change in the face of a president, Pedro Sánchez, who "does not respect anything".

"Mr. President, you are responsible for everything that has happened in Spain in these years. You and your colleagues from Podemos, Sumar, who has been with you in all the misdeeds," criticized the regional leader.

Ayuso believes that Sánchez "is sentenced" and has wondered "how much it will cost to recover Spain's prestige" internationally. "We are seeing day by day how we lose sovereignty and neither the leader of the opposition nor Parliament finds out. We find out through external media," he reproached.

Along these lines, he has charged against "every lie, every fallacy and every nonsense" of Sánchez and believes that "sanchism" is joining "everything that hates Spain." "With absolute superiority, only they can govern, only they can agree. Their laws are always a legal outrage against common sense, scientific rigor, pure sectarianism," said the president of the Madrid PP.

Faced with this, he believes that there is the PP project in Madrid and throughout Spain, which "neither excludes nor is ashamed" and that it is going to recover "true politics." "With Alberto Núñez Feijóo we will recover that policy that solves problems, that does not create them, that attends to injustices, that does not cause them, that helps to prosper and that does not suffocate those who have the legitimate aspiration to be better every day", Ayuso stressed.

He also considers that with Feijóo "the best Spain" can be achieved, forming a government that is "at the height of the effort of the Spaniards."

For his part, the mayor of Madrid has stated that Spain is "barely 72 hours away from repealing sanchismo", after a campaign in which they have not chosen "neither the pitch, nor the ball with which this game is going to be played".

"But we are going to win it", has expressed Almeida, who has transferred to the president of the PP that Madrid is going to respond to him and is going to take him "in wings" to La Moncloa. Along these lines, he considers that Madrid is "the best symbol of constitutional Spain, of peace, harmony, coexistence, progress and prosperity".

So that this example of Madrid can also be extended to the national level, he has asked for the vote for the PP. "Madrid, I guarantee it, will not fail you on Sunday, July 23, as Spain has never failed, assuming our responsibility as the nation's capital," the councilor asserted.

Likewise, he has defended that the good path of Feijóo will also be that of "all Spaniards" to restore "the confidence and respect for democracy and the institutions that Sánchez has wanted to lose during the last five years."

He has praised that Feijóo will dedicate himself to "re-sewing those institutional seams that Pedro Sánchez has broken" these years with a "solid, strong government that does not depend on anyone other than the will of the Spanish people."

Also, he has asked for the vote for those who do not want democracy "to be defined by the Bilduetarras" and who do not want coexistence to be defended by "the independentistas." "What we simply want is the guarantee of a future in coexistence, of a future in peace, of a future in prosperity", she has expressed.

"These elections are decisive, they are decisive and we are going to win them from Madrid, President, we are going to win them with you, we are going to win them with the common Spaniards. We are going to get a very good result, you are going to be a great president of the government", Almeida claimed.
