Aragonès offers to debate separately with Illa and Puigdemont if the three of them refuse to do so

SITGES (BARCELONA), 6 Apr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of the Generalitat and candidate for re-election, Pere Aragonès, has this Saturday offered the candidates Salvador Illa (PSC) and Carles Puigdemont (Junts) two-on-one debates with him, after the socialist rejected Aragonès' own offer from one debate to three.

During the ERC event 'Guanya Catalunya' in Sitges (Barcelona) with the mayor Aurora Carbonell, Aragonès also returned to offer the three-way debate abroad, given that Puigdemont is not in Spain.

"Let no one be afraid of this debate," he said, because he sees it as necessary for voters to listen to a debate about ideas and compare.

The Ibex 35 rises 0.22% mid-session driven by Aena (4.66) and Sabadell (4.57%)
