Anna Navarro will be Puigdemont's 'number two' in his candidacy for the 12M elections

The Catalan executive Anna Navarro will be the 'number two' of Junts Puigdemont per Catalunya, a candidacy led by the former president of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont in the elections to be held on May 12, as reported by the candidacy this Tuesday in a statement.

"Anna has decided to accept the challenge that I have proposed to her to join me in second place on the list that I lead to help us in this new stage of the country," Puigdemont said in statements reported by Europa Press, as Catalunya has advanced. Ràdio this Tuesday morning.

The former president has celebrated the appointment of Navarro to put her "exceptional career at the service of Catalonia": the Catalan is vice president of Procore and executive head of Women in Technology, and in 2020 she was named the most influential woman in the world in technology by the magazine AnalyticsInsight.

For his part, Navarro has stated that he knows what it is to fight at the highest level, something that, in his opinion, he has always done with a lot of Catalanness, and now he wants to put his "experience at the service of Catalonia."

"I don't come to warm up the chair, but to fight for what we Catalans deserve," said the executive.
