The call between P.L., a worker of the president of Zamora CF, Víctor de Aldama, and the supposed 'brain' of the 'Koldo case', Juan Carlos Cueto, reveals the existence of photographs "that cannot be shown" of an alleged intermediary of the companies supplying medical supplies "with the minister." The Civil Guard does not clarify who it refers to.

This is clear from the summary of the case, to which Europa Press has had access, which alludes to the existence of a "super boss in this story." The Central Operational Unit (UCO) indicates in one of its letters that this person "would be related to the preparation of the investigated contracts, placing himself at the highest level of decision-making."

The telephone conversation took place on September 15 of last year between P.L., a De Aldama worker, and Cueto. That day, the woman informed Cueto that she was going to meet with the lawyer who was aware of the Tax Agency inspection that De Aldama himself had to undergo.

In that talk, both of them focus on two letters to be signed by José Vidal and Israel Pilar and that would have been written by the worker to justify the services provided by MTM 180 CAPITAL SL and DELUXE FORTUNE SL. Vidal agreed to sign it; Israel, however, claimed that he did not know De Aldama or his companies.

During the call, the worker "comments on De Aldama's lack of interest in the inspection." According to the Civil Guard, Israel "is considered the link, the first link" by Cueto, from Aldama, the worker and the businessman Íñigo Rotaeche. "Israel was an intermediary who would have introduced Aldama to the people who were in charge of supplying masks. Specifically, the alleged 'mastermind' of the plot, Juan Carlos Cueto, indicated to a third party, an employee of Management Solutions - a company that is at the epicenter of the awards under investigation - that after meeting with De Aldama he had photographs of what he had presented to the Treasury.

The investigators conclude from that and other contemporary conversations that Cueto has "interest in Soluciones de Gestión and the De Aldama companies recounting the same speech in their appearances under the inspection of the AEAT." And to do so, he reports via telephone that he has in his possession the minutes of the contractor's appearances.

In another order to which this news agency has had access, the judge points out that, for the investigators, De Aldama would be carrying out a de-assessment of his assets through a business network with partners who have links with Koldo, which "would have as its object put in the name of companies created in Portugal movable and immovable assets that are their property".

The amounts transferred reach 1.1 million euros between September 25 and November 16, 2023 from accounts owned by De Aldama, as well as from MTM 180 CAPITAL SL and two other companies.

According to the judge, "this operation seems to be aimed at avoiding responding with their assets for tax breaches that, given the profits obtained from their intervention in the investigated contracts (6,712,110.66 euros) through the companies DELUXE FORTUNE SL and MTM 180 CAPITAL".
