Another teacher dies after the shooting at two schools in Brazil adding four deaths

The governor of the Brazilian state of Espiritu Santo has confirmed this Saturday the death of the 38-year-old teacher Flávia Amboss Merçon, who was injured after a man opened fire on two schools in the municipality of Aracruz, for which the number of fatalities It already amounts to four.

"Unfortunately, the tragedy in Aracruz has not yet ended. With deep regret we confirm the death of another victim, Professor Flávia Amboss Merçon, just 38 years old. Our solidarity hug to family and friends," Governor Renato Casagrande wrote on his profile Twitter.

After the shooting, the deaths of three teachers from the Primo Bitti State Primary and Secondary School and a student from the private school Centro Educacional Praia de Coqueiral have been recorded, while the number of wounded rises to twelve.

The teenager, and former student of the first school, who has confessed to being the author of the shots, was arrested this Saturday by the authorities, after which he declared that he used a weapon belonging to his father and had been planning the attack for two years.
