The premium to the conversion is applicable for vehicles classified Crit'Air 3 or older, petrol vehicles registered before 2006, and diesel vehicles registered before 2011.

According to the new system, individuals will receive from 2500 to 5000 euro (depending on income), for the purchase of an electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid, and from 1500 to 3000 euros for a vehicle Crit'Air 1 or 2.
