MADRID, 25 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

RTVE has presented this Tuesday its coverage for the Qatar World Cup, which will be played from November 20 to December 18, for which they will broadcast 19-20 games of the 64 total -among them, all those of the Spanish team-, with the world champions in 2010 with the national team Iker Casillas and Andrés Iniesta as analysts and collaborators during the broadcasts.

The channel explained its commitment to the World Cup with an event held at its Prado del Rey studios, with the presence of Arsenio Cañada, RTVE Sports Director; along with the extensive team of professionals from the network that will cover the World Cup on television -Ana Ibáñez, Marcos López, Lara Gandarillas and Juan Carlos Rivero; and Manu Martínez, director of Sports for RNE; José Maria Rubí, director of 'Radiogaceta de los Deportes', and María Eizaguirre, director of Communication and Participation of RTVE.

In addition, Iker Casillas and Andrés Iniesta, world champions in 2010 with the Spanish team, in addition to the last to be revealed, Santi Cazorla, will be collaborators for RTVE during the tournament to be played in Qatar. These join the usual Carlos Marchena and Albert 'Chapi' Ferrer. "It's a unique experience," acknowledged the exporter in a video, who showed "desire" to be able to comment on a World Cup final with Spain as the protagonist.

"It's a pleasure to collaborate with RTVE in a World Cup, a different World Cup, but equally special. I'm really looking forward to transmitting all our energy, hopefully we'll bring luck to the team", wished the former FC Barcelona midfielder and goal scorer of Spain in the final in South Africa against the Netherlands.

For the first time in 24 years, RTVE will broadcast Spain's matches in a World Cup, and they will all be on La1. As for the broadcasts and the matches that can be followed on the main channel of the network, TVE will offer ten duels from the group stage, including the three of the Spanish team -debut on November 23 (5:00 p.m.) against Costa Rica- ; four round of 16; two quarters; the two semi-finals, the final and, should Spain arrive, the match for third place.

In addition, there will be two daily programs: 'World Cup on La 1', presented by Marcos López before Telediario1, and the summary of the day at 10:00 p.m., with Paco Caro on Teledeporte. "Not only will there be the matches, we will have protagonists, analysis, the previous ones...", Marcos López commented during the act.

The RTVE team in Qatar will be made up of around 70 people, "with many more people working from Spain." "We are going to be reporting on the World Cup from the morning at 8 in the morning," insisted Arsenio Cañada, who also reported on a "transmedia" program that will offer "another point of view of the matches."

Likewise, the deployment at the radio level will also be reinforced, with 50 matches counted on RNE, which will have the soccer player Vero Boquete as an analyst. "Every noon there will be a special that will go beyond the world of football. We will have the diary of a journalist in Qatar, we will talk about Spanish culture in Qatar...", added Manu Martínez, director of Sports for RNE.

Also participating in the presentation event was the singer Chanel, great winner of Eurovision and interpreter of 'TOKE', the song of the Spanish team for the World Cup in Qatar. "The reception has been wonderful, I am very happy," the artist acknowledged about the premiere of the musical theme.

"I saw it with my closest friends, it was an exciting day, I had many compressed emotions and I wanted it to come out. We have dedicated many hours and effort, it came out and it was incredible. I was very nervous. I am learning that when you create something and you publish it is not yours, it belongs to the people who consume it", he commented on the debut of the song, with "a lot of effort and many people behind".

'TOKE' is the second song that Chanel launches alone, and that it also puts a melody to the national team in the World Cup is "something big and very powerful". "The Chanel of 10 years ago would be scared (by success), but she would also be focused and working," she told the singer, who confessed to being a follower of FC Barcelona. "I am very competitive, I like soccer, although it goes by times," she concluded.
