PAMPLONA, 14 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The bulls from the Miura ranch have starred this Friday in a last fast and clean running of the bulls for the San Fermín festivities, with a noble behavior on the part of the bulls, who have completed the tour divided into two groups.
Five runners have been transferred to the Hospital Universitario de Navarra after the eighth and last running of the bulls of the 2023 Sanfermines, starring Miura bulls, which have not left any horn injuries.
Two runners have suffered a thoracic contusion and their prognosis is reserved. They are in resuscitation in the ER. One has been transferred from Mercaderes and another from Santo Domingo.
On the other hand, one person has been transferred from the City Hall section with a dislocated shoulder and another from Santo Domingo due to a contusion without knee deformity. Finally, another runner suffered multiple injuries in Mercaderes.
The confinement has lasted two minutes and 22 seconds. On a sunny morning in Pamplona, ??the race started punctually at eight in the morning after the three songs for San Fermín.
As with every running of the bulls, bulls and halters have left the corrals of Santo Domingo grouped together when the doors opened and have headed into this first section of the running of the bulls at high speed, which has caused numerous falls among the runners.
Along the street, the group has remained united, although it has stretched out and has allowed the grooms to have beautiful races. It has continued in this way through the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and through Calle Mercaderes, to take the Estafeta curve without incident, through the center of the street.
In this section of Estafeta, the herd has been divided into two groups from the beginning, one first led by a meek along with three ‘miuras’, who have taken many meters ahead of the rest of the horned ones.
In this way, the runners have been able to get close to the bulls, run in front of the horns and have beautiful races, in some cases long ones. The speed of the race has also caused numerous and spectacular falls among the waiters, many already in the section of the alley.
Precisely, in this last section, one of the bulls hit a young woman from behind with the python, who fell to the ground. The bulls from the Miura ranch have continued to the interior of the bullring without attacking the young men.
The six bulls will be fought at 6:30 p.m. in the Plaza de Toros by the right-handers Rubén Pinar, Juan Leal and Jesús Enrique Colombo.
