UK believes Russia does not have enough artillery to continue large-scale operations in Ukraine

MADRID, 24 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The UK Ministry of Defense maintains that Russia does not have enough artillery ammunition to carry out large-scale operations in Ukraine, now ten months after the start of the invasion.

That is the main conclusion of the latest report from the ministry's Intelligence service, which maintains that although the mobilization of thousands of reservists since October has allowed Russia to solve its people problems, the shortage of ammunition continues to "limit" its offensives.

In that sense, London maintains that for that same reason -- the lack of cruise missiles -- Russia has limited its long-range attacks against civilian infrastructure to approximately one per week.

"The vulnerability of Russia's current operational plan is that even simply maintaining defensive operations along its extensive front line requires significant daily expenditures on shells and missiles," the summary emphasizes.
