Trump points out the problems of Twitter and assures that he will stay on his social network, Truth Social

MADRID, 20 Nov. (EUROPAPRESS) -

The former president of the United States Donald Trump has affirmed this Saturday that he sees "many problems on Twitter" and that his intention is to stay on his social network, Truth Social, since he sees no reason to return to the platform acquired by Elon Musk.

"I've heard that we're getting a big vote to go back to Twitter as well. I don't see it because I don't see any reason to," Trump said at the Republican Jewish Coalition meeting in Las Vegas, according to Bloobmerg.

This has been the response of the Republican politician to the survey launched by the businessman on his Twitter profile in which he invited users to decide whether or not to restore the former US president's account.

One hour after the question is closed after having set a period of 24 hours to participate, the survey has more than 14.5 million votes and the 'yes' gathers 51.8 percent of the support.

The American politician promoted the Truth Social platform after his profile was disabled on Twitter for considering that he had encouraged the violation of the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, days before Joe Biden took office as president.

"Truth Social has been very, very powerful, very, very strong, and I will stay there," Trump has maintained, while noting that many of his platform's users will not return to the social network purchased by Musk either.

Despite showing his reluctance, Trump has stated that he liked that Musk had bought the social network for 44,000 million dollars because "he tends to like the characters", although he has stressed that the platform has "terrible problems" such as fake accounts.
