Seven people linked to the French far-right movement Zouaves Paris have been brought before the courts this Saturday for prosecution after being arrested in Paris last Wednesday, when the Moroccan and French soccer teams clashed, when they tried to "give battle" to the Moroccan fans armed with knives.

Among the detainees is the leader of the Zouaves Paris group, Marc de Cacqueray-Valmenier, considered close to the far-right leader Éric Zemmour, according to sources cited by BFMTV television. De Cacqueray-Valmenier was already arrested for violent incidents during an act by Éric Zemmour in Villepinte at the end of 2021.

A total of 40 people linked to the extreme right were arrested on the night of December 14 to 15 in the Champs-Élysées area of ​​Paris after the semifinal of the World Cup in Qatar between France and Morocco, but only of them Twenty-six were arrested and twelve of them were released without charge.
