The Ukrainian authorities have reported this Wednesday that at least one person has died and seven others have been injured in a new attack by Russian forces against the town of Bakhmut, in the Donetsk region, in the east of the country.
The governor of the area, Pavlo Kirilenko, has indicated that the Ukrainian Army has also found the lifeless bodies of three civilians, who "were killed during the Russian occupation of Sviatohirsk and Shchurove", as explained in his Telegram account. .
However, he has warned that it is "impossible" to establish the exact number of victims in areas such as Volnovaja and Mariupol, among other cities that have been seriously affected by the bombings.
In addition, this Wednesday morning, the Russian Armed Forces have launched three missiles against a town near Zaporizhia. Oleksander Staruj, spokesman for the local government, has pointed out that "the second Army in the world has used missiles to hit a restaurant in the region."
In this sense, he explained that the Ukrainian forces had previously managed to intercept an enemy missile launched during the night, according to information from the Ukrinform agency.
