The UMH and the College of Environmentalists will accelerate business projects and startups in the province

ALICANTE, July 26. (EUROPEAN PRESS) -

The Science Park of the Miguel Hernández University (PCUMH) of Elche (Alicante) and the Professional College of Environmentalists of the Valencian Community (CoAmbCV) have signed an agreement to collaborate in the field of innovation and knowledge exchange, as well as to create and accelerate new business projects and startups in the province.

The agreement has been signed by the director-manager of the PCUMH, Tonia Salinas, and the president of this Professional Association, Pablo Martínez, as reported by the campus this Wednesday in a statement.

Through this agreement, both entities seek to promote collaboration between companies and the innovation ecosystem. Also, promote the development and strengthening of the business fabric of the province of Alicante, taking training and technological innovation as key elements to increase business competitiveness.

For this, different actions will be carried out that contribute to promoting the creation, launching and development of new business projects with high added value in order to achieve results of innovative, business and social interest for the province. In the same way, they undertake to organize and participate in workshops, events and networking days of interest to the environment.

During the meeting, the CoAmbCV also signed an agreement to collaborate in the development of the 13th UMH Marathon. Through this agreement, the Professional Association will support with mentoring and networking the most innovative projects in this program that contribute to preserving and improving the environment to move towards sustainability.

The Professional College of Environmental Scientists of the Valencian Community has among its main objectives to defend and represent the interests of graduates, graduates and students of Environmental Sciences of the autonomy, and to facilitate their incorporation into the labor market.
