The Supreme Court orders the closure of the Lafarge factory in Montcada i Reixac (Barcelona)

BARCELONA, Nov. 25 (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Supreme Court (TS) has ordered the "closure, closure and seal" of the activity that Lafarge is carrying out at its Montcada i Reixac (Barcelona) plant, after dismissing the appeals on the sentence that the company had presented, the committee of company and the Generalitat, in a resolution consulted by Europa Press this Friday.

The Supreme Court has agreed to reject the three appeals filed before the October 2021 ruling that annulled and rendered the environmental license granted by the Generalitat to the plant null and void.

The court has pointed out that the three appeals lack "sufficient foundation" and appeal interest, in his words.
