The PSOE requests 26 years in prison for Granados and 17 for Beltrán Gutiérrez for the alleged 'caja b' of the PP in Madrid

It requests that the "72 regional deputies of the PP who were elected after the elections" be declared profit-seeking participants.

MADRID, 16 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The PSOE has asked the National Court to sentence the former counselor of the Community of Madrid Francisco Granados and the former manager of the PP in the region Beltrán Gutiérrez to 26 and 17 years in prison respectively for the alleged existence of a 'box b' in the party regional government, with which the 2007, 2008 and 2011 elections would have been partially financed.

In a letter addressed to the head of the Central Court of Instruction Number 6, Manuel García Castellón, and to which Europa Press has had access, the formation requests the opening of an oral trial against Granados, Gutiérrez and against six other defendants, in addition to legal persons EICO Reputation and MADIVA Editorial.

The Socialists ask to condemn Granados and Gutiérrez for electoral crimes, administrative prevarication, embezzlement of public funds, fraud against public administrations and falsification. Granados, in addition, is also accused of a crime of bribery and another of influence peddling related to reputation work.

Likewise, the PSOE urges that the 72 regional deputies of the Popular Party who were elected (and/or their substitutes) after the elections be declared "participants for profit and for the amounts indicated in the judgment" of the cited years, because in the opinion of the PSOE "their candidacies were equally benefited from the excess of electoral spending and its concealment".

This letter from the formation led by Pedro Sánchez comes after the instructor issued the indictment of this separate piece number 9 of the 'Púnica' macro-cause. Then, the magistrate agreed to lift the charges against former Madrid president Esperanza Aguirre and her successor Ignacio González, prosecuting Granados as the alleged ringleader of the plot.
